Giving Back

Desert Harvest was started in 1993 to help a family member with chronic bladder pain. Our mission has been to educate about the scientifically studied benefits of Super-Strength Aloe Vera to help relieve the symptoms associated with Interstitial Cystitis / Bladder Pain Syndrome.

We work with organizations and healthcare professionals to help educate and advocate for all those with IC/BPS worldwide. Desert Harvest works with the following non-profit organizations that align with our mission. Proceeds from your purchase of Desert Harvest products help support the critical work of these organizations.

Dear Desert Harvest -

Thank you for the many sample packets of Aloe Vera Gele, Releveum, and bottles of Aloe Vera Capsules that you donated to our mission. From my experience, your pain-relieving and healing aloe gels are the best on the market for severe vaginal atrophy, irritation, burning, and pain! As I have discovered over the past many years, Desert Harvest products are remarkable for the vagina, and your Aloe Vera capsules are my go-to "over-the-counter tool" for bladder lining healing! I have found that when a Painful Bladder Syndrome patient is doing well, they tend to want to switch to a cheaper substitute product. It always fails! They always return to Desert Harvest products! That is why I requested samples from you. Very glad I did because the most fantastic surprise in Africa was needed to help so many boys and men with bladder pain issues! I suspect there will be a greater need for aloe gels and capsules when I return to Africa to focus on treating victims of Female Genital Mutilation. These women suffer significantly from vaginal pain and, most likely, bladder issues. Thanks again for your generosity in serving the African people!

The Pelvic Whisperer

Since 1993, Desert Harvest has supported and partnered with the Interstitial Cystitis Association (ICA). The Interstitial Cystitis Association (ICA) advocates for interstitial cystitis (IC) research dedicated to the discovery of a cure and better treatments, raises awareness, and serves as a central hub for healthcare providers, researchers, and millions of patients who suffer from constant urinary urgency and frequency and extreme bladder pain called IC. The ICA was established in 1984 to put a face on all those affected by IC and remains today the only non-profit health association solely dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare and the lives of people living with IC. The ICA pursues three core functions to fulfill its mission: advocacy, research, and education. https://www.ichelp.org

The Foundation for International Urogynecological Assistance (FIUGA) is a non-profit charitable, and academic organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life of women with pelvic floor problems. With projects in Ghana and Nepal, FIUGA supports educational programs for urogynecological professionals, helps educate the general public and patients about pelvic floor health, funds research for treating pelvic floor conditions, and provides scholarships to advance research and practice. https://fiuga.org/
